Our new Golf R was suffered from a bad first wash. Out of the darkness, I called Jimmy hoping the team at Fine Shine can save the paint. Contacted Jimmy early on in the week to get my 1999 E38 740iL Corrected, I was nervous that the old paint wouldn't hold up when getting detailed - many places knocked the car back and said they wouldn't take it. Jimmy reached out and gave me a competitive price and absolutely fairdinkum nailed it. Took him less than a couple days and the car looks better than it would have when it came off the floor. I never thought that my car (brand new, a week out from the dealership) could possibly look shinier than it already was, but somehow when I picked it up from Jimmy after getting it ceramic coated, it was absolutely gleaming. I would like to thank Jimmy and the team at Fine Shine Detailing! I found Jimmy online after doing a bit of research, and gave him a call. The service and knowledge provided to me over the phone was so genuine, and the price was reasonable compared to being quoted double at the dealership. The drop off was a breeze, and for pick up I couldn’t make it during business hours.. so Jimmy opened up for me on a Saturday morning to accommodate me, what an absolute gentleman! Not to mention, my car looks amazing too. He ran through thoroughly with me, what and what not to wash my car with (products, sponges, etc), which was also nice to know. I wanted to do ceramic coating for my brand new car and did some research. Found that Jimmy who runs Fine Shine Protection is the best in business and doesn’t bury a hole in the pocket as well (Lol because few quotes from other providers sounded like that). Dropped my car in the morning and he explained few things about the process and had a general chat. Came to collect the car next morning and it was mind blowing to see my car. Was looking newer and glossier than I took it from the showroom. Jimmy then explained how to look after the car and maintain the ceramic coating. Before going to jimmy I brought my car to one of those shopping centre car washes and they absolutely destroyed my black hilux it was like they washed my car with sand paper with the amount of swirls and scratches, I was absolutely shattered, doing some research about car paint and coatings I found jimmy, the finished product was absolutely amazing no more swirl marks and it looks stunning with a nice fresh coat of ceramic coating I definitely recommend jimmy, his a master at what he does. Guys if you are buying a new car, please take your car straight from dealership to Jimmy. Believe me you won't regret the magic he will do to your car .Jimmy is not only a repairer but a carer too!I am sharing my personal experience here.I got a new car and I ruined it by taking it to car wash and use the wrong washing procedure.It was the first time I bought the car so i didn't know anything about swirl marks and things like that.After noticing those marks on my car it starts bothering me, obviously it's a brand new car and no one like their new car to look like 10 years old!I took it to several workshops and every single one them did nothing but just scare me by their reaction after looking at my car!"Man, you have ruined your car""You can't take it back to it's original condition""It's gonna cost you atleast $2000 bucks" etc etc.Then I found Jimmy, the man with a golden heart I would say.He did his best to fix my car. The ratings look to be legit. Jimmy appears to have done an excellent ceramic job on my Kona Electric. Be aware he also sometimes applies a "topper", which makes the finish even glossier. I will re-visit this review after a few months to confirm the quality of the job. Don't let the dealers rip you off - go to Jimmy.

A clean workshop, professional service and good value. That's what you will get at Fine Shine Detailing. Can't ask for more, speak to Jimmy to find out for his services. I sent my new Mazda 3 2021 model there for ceramic coating protection and what I liked about Jimmy's service is that he does not try to sell anything to you but more of a 'do your homework and find out what you want then contact him for his service' type. At the end of the day, how well you can maintain the coating is up to you, but let the Pros do the application. 5 stars!

Although I have tonnes of reasons to write, let me give you just three so that I don't waste too much of your precious time.First, I chose to protect my car with Ceramic Pro by Jimmy due to the countless number of positive reviews on Google. These reviews are not rigged or fake like the ones you see on Koala.Second, the quote I received was actually the best. I have literally called every Ceramic Pro installer in Victoria and their quote was way higher than Jimmy's. If you don't believe me then I suggest you do the same :)And last, but certainly not least, Jimmy is a really great guy. I bombarded him with a lot of questions and he answered all of them patiently and professionally. Put my Landrover Defender in for ceramic coating and Jimmy did an excellent job. Car was on 3 weeks old but paint came up a lot better. Was very helpful & knowledgeable with after service advice and very happy with his service. Would recommend.

Very impressed with Jimmy's services. Got a Ceramic Coating done for my CX5. Within a month of buying the vehicle, I noticed a lot of scratches from the automated car wash that the dealer did on first month inspection. When I first called him, he explained the whole process, for whom a ceramic coating would be apt and how the scratches needs to be removed first (otherwise they will become permanent) before the coating is applied.When I brought my car in, he kept the car for 1 full day. When I took the delivery he spent a good half an hour explaing what he did, how he did and how to keep the car shinning. I could see he spent and invested good amount of time on the car. I believe the price he quoted was fair and justified the service he gave.Jimmy is a perfect example of how a small and locally owned business that gives you personalise service and attention, which the big franchise and dealership lack of, could (and should) give them a run for their money.I will definitely recommend Jimmy.

Don’t even think about getting your car dealer to do the paint protection. I have had my last 4 cars done at the dealership until the last one which they did poorly. Called Jimmy (really nice and friendly guy) and he not only rectified what the dealer did but did a job that was far superior to any I have had done before. Trust is a big thing when handing over your valuable asset to a stranger, but please be assured you are in safe hands with Jimmy.

My experience with Jimmy was that he is an expert at what he does. The shine that he delivered back to me was outstanding after paint correction and protection. I didn’t shop around but I found his pricing to be fair and on par with my expectations for a large SUV.Overall experience 5 stars. Jimmy is a genius!!! I had a calcified water stain on my boot which was the result of a drain pipe leaking onto my car in the basement at my apartment while I was on holidays. The stain seemed baked on and I couldn't remove it myself with a standard car polish so I took it to Jimmy at Fine Shine and he fixed it in less than 10 minutes. There’s not enough stars for Jimmy. Communication was exemplary, turnaround time was ridiculous, Jimmy sent me a photo of the contamination in my paint on a car days old. When I showed up the next day, the car looked incredible. The quality of the finish was insane and he took the time to walk me through how to care for the finish. If you are reading this, stop searching and comparing and get Jimmy on it. Do not haggle and do not say you can find it cheaper elsewhere - he’s already less than half the price of the dealers with a way better finish - pay what he asks and let him do the work, it’s worth it. It’s rare to find people passionate about what they do and about serving their customers but Jimmy hits both to the highest level. Thanks Jimmy.

Jimmy did an outstanding job to my new Alfa Romeo Giulia. The car looks better now than when I bought it new. The way Jimmy managed to get the black to pop was amazing. The paint has this incredible ceramic feel which results in water beading & simply slipping off when wet. Its so much easier to keep my car clean now. I took a near-new Focus RS to Jimmy for polishing and ceramic protection, and the paint turned out far better than it was when freshly delivered! I took our black SQ7 that had started getting some wear and marks over the paintwork including some bird droppings that had eaten into the paint. The plan was to give the car a good clean up then the ceramic pro over the top. When they say it’s all in the preparation, Jimmy is the master! The car was brought back to factory new condition and then had the coating applied. I just added 2-layers of ceramic coat on my car with Jimmy. Even if the car is brand new, I saw some swirl marks here and there, but Jimmy polished and removed them. I took the package option which also covered the interior, glasses and wheels. Now I dont need much effort in washing the car, dust and dirt are easily removed, they simply don't stick to the paint or any other parts that are protected with the ceramic coat.I am very happy and satisfied with his Job. Surely he's done meticulous job on the car. I will recommend Jimmy to anyone who wants to protect your car and the ease of washing. Furthermore, the ceramic coat adds up gloss to the car. I took my car to Jimmy because it is ten years old and was looking a bit tired. I saw the 5 star rating on Google and read the other reviews and booked in for a detail and ceramic coating.I got my car back today and I couldn't believe the difference. I spoke to Jimmy over the phone about paint protection being applied to my recently purchased car and he was extremely knowledgeable and happy to answer all my questions. I loved Jimmy's work so much I had to go back for the second time on another car. He's so careful and meticulous that you will not have any problem entrusting him with luxury cars of any price range. I have seen him coat a $400K+ 911 and that thing looks brand spanking new afterwards.Jimmy is such a great bloke he knew I needed the car on the same day so he didn't have lunch to finish it early! What a legend.Will definitely come back again.

Had our Mercedes A180 detailed by Jimmy at Fine Shine Port Melbourne. The car was looking very dull before he started, must say when I picked it up it was like picking it up new from the showroom. Great job done, very happy.

We took our new Alpha Romeo Giulia to Jimmy for ceramic paint protection. We couldn't believe the difference between the factory job (swirls, dull) and the liquid shine that Jimmy produced. Highly recommended.

Had my new Red Veloster SR Turbo paint protected today and was beyond amazed at how wonderful Jimmy was to me and my car! I live nearly 3 hours away from Melbourne so Jimmy made sure he finished my car in one day when it usually takes 2 days! Jimmy is extremely professional and friendly! My Boyfriend got the exterior and interior package, coating the exterior with Ceramic Pro and Ceramic Pro Rain. With the interior getting a coating of the Ceramic Pro Leather and Fabric. The Ranger looked like a show car in the end. The shine of the paint popped with the car, working awesome in the rain. Still waiting to test out the interior but hoping not to. I would recommend any day of the week, the boyfriend decided to leave his coin stash in the car and nothing was taken, so confidence with the team who will be in your car.

What an experience!When my car was delivered to me from the dealership i thought it was great, but Jimmy's eye for detail on my new car was amazing. He took me over the car in the first 5 mins picking out all the damage to the paint sustained by the dealerships detailer. Jimmy did a great job of correcting the dealer’s poor delivery detailing. Jimmy corrected a flat, contaminated and swirled paint work to a high gloss finish. Jimmy is also very helpful to guide you through which detailing process is required and also what is required to care for the car to maintain the finish.

Brought my brand new ‘17 Panamera e-Hybrid to Jimmy to have it fully creamic coated, exterior and interior. Car undoubtedly needed some polishing after the long journey from Germany to Porsche Melbourne. The meticulous care and attention to detail that Jimmy put in over the few days of the detailing course were totally impeccable. Jimmy was great. Took my new car in for ceramic paint protection, had it back the next morning. Jimmy took the time to explain his way through all of the work on the car from prep to finish and was happy to help with giving me all the info needed to look after the coat. Amazing!!! Jimmy did a fabulous job on my new car the first time, but when my car was written off he quickly did the paint protection the second time and just as good! I received a very light scratch on my bonnet and he buffed it out straight away, free of charge - what a legend! Highly recommend this place!

Top bloke Jimmy!! very good at what he does... communication was a AAA+++ fairly priced and excellent work and knowledge..dealership wanted 2.5K for the paint protection, tint and clear film on door cups/ on top of rear bumper..Jimmy quoted just under 1.5K for the same job including darkest legal ceramic tint..!!! highly recommended!! keep up the good work Jimmy..

Jimmy has done a great job with the ceramic coating on my beemer 228i. Also got the interior leather protection done. Great products, knowledgeable staff, not too expensive and friendly service. Jimmy really knows his stuff and it clearly shows. Dirt and water washes off easily and the car remains sparkling for a long time. Driven through some bad weather recently...wiped the car with a damp cloth and vola....its shining like new again..took abt 10 mins...it was that easy. Highly recommended this place.

Hi All, what more can you say other than Jimmy has done at absolutely awesome job on my car. I took a while to find the right guy to do my paint protection, trust me I'm picky, but was blown away with Jimmy's knowledge, customer service and ultimately the end result, could not be happier and highly recommend Fine Shine to anyone who wants a fantastic result at a great price. Also, and unfortunately, I picked up some paint damage and a dent on my roof on the way to Jimmy's. That said and after some consoling from Jimmy, he had taken a picture of the damage, shot it off to a mate in the trade and organised a great repair, ie Jimmy goes the extra mile. You struggle to find quality and service this good these days, go Jimmy, Regards Adam.
